The Appeal of Episodic Anime

It’s the last day of March and I find myself both drowsy and for the most part bored. I did manage to cull my “plan-to-watch” list over the week but these past few days have just been so static (though it may be because I haven’t adjusted to not having anything to do). To alleviate these feelings I went with a sort-of last resort past-time for me – watch random episodes of any series that I have. Intriguingly, I almost, always found myself going for shows with an episodic format.

My Spring 2012 Lineup

I’ve now just realized that I didn’t make a lineup post for Winter, which, I kinda feel bad about, given how surprisingly good the season was. This Spring however, looks rather promising, if not more so than how Winter was promising.

This is just gonna be a quick rundown of the shows I’m planning to pick up, why I want to watch them, and my concerns about ‘em. With that, let’s get this list going.

Ace Railgun’s 50 Questions

At this point in time I’d guess that most, if not all of you guys, have encountered Ace Railgun’s 50 Questions post. Some of the guys that I follow, like Kai, Tsurugiarashix and SomewhatMystia also answered these questions, so I thought why not join in on the fun and decided to give it a go myself. Plus I’m still on my College-induced abstinence from anime (and I was this close to finishing Bamboo Blade too >.<)

This is a tough one, but I gotta go with Orihara Izaya from DuRaRaRa!! because of his personality and insane knife skills. Araragi Koyomi from the -monogatari series is a close second though.
